About
About Winquire
Winquire is where we build software with AI and write down what happens. It isn't a consultancy and it isn't selling anything yet. It's a body of work: real products, running in production, each with a written account of how it was made.
Why it exists
Most writing about AI-assisted development is either a demo or a prediction. We wanted to see what happens when you build complete, unglamorous software this way, with authentication, migrations, CI, backups and on-call, and then report back honestly, including the parts that went wrong.
How we build
- A person sets direction; the models do the work. Product decisions, priorities and final review stay human. Planning, implementation, tests and most reviews are done by AI agents.
- Context is written down. Every project keeps a decision record and a working guide for the agents in the repository, so each new session starts informed instead of guessing.
- Small stories, shipped end to end. Work moves across a Kanban board one story at a time: specified, built, tested, reviewed and merged.
- Production is the test. Everything runs on real infrastructure with real deploys. When something breaks, it becomes a note here.
What you'll find here
Projects each have a case study covering what was built, how AI was used, and what we learned. Writing collects shorter field notes from along the way.
