Why this site exists

A place to keep the projects, and an honest record of what building with AI is actually like.

Since early 2026 we’ve built several complete pieces of software with AI agents doing most of the work. They aren’t demos. They have authentication, migrations, CI pipelines, backups, and outages.

Building them taught us more than we expected, and most of it isn’t in the usual conversation about AI and code. Some of it is encouraging: agents are good at sustained, conventional work once the conventions are written down. Some of it is humbling: agents will confidently solve the wrong problem if the context is missing, and infrastructure still finds ways to surprise you.

This site is where that gets written down.

What you’ll find

  • Projects, each with a case study: what was built, how AI was used, the stack, and what worked and what didn’t.
  • Field notes, shorter posts about specific moments: a workflow that clicked, a bug that took a day, a decision we’d make differently.

What you won’t find

Hype, predictions, or a sales pitch. Nothing here is for sale yet. It’s a record of the work.
